Proposal

The purpose of this radio show will be to inform and entertain its audience, being updated on the local gyms and here the latest news in the fighting community.

The target audience would be people who live in Doncaster and also South Yorkshire, who are interested in the MMA world and those who want to give it ago themselves. Looking at psychometrics I'd say that it is aimed an explorer's as its lookin for something new as not everyone will mainstream fighting so it is more for those wanting/looking for something different.

MMA.

Below is a rough run through of our script for the radio show.

Fighting- tommy fury vs Jake Paul. Jon Jones v. Ciryl Gane

local clubs- CMMA, Mark diakese performance center, unit MMA, MA4U

events- caged steel 31, AFK super league, UWCB

sound effects- Round bell chime, announcements? fight music faded in background

Opening- round bell chime "welcome to DFT, the radio where we cover all news fighting  and the local clubs."

speak about news on recent fighting event results (caged steel results(KO, Dagestani won), Jones vs Gane (Jones wins in just over 2 minutes), Paul vs Fury.)- 

"There have been big things happening in the MMA community recently, with the return of Jon jones and his reclaiming of the title of UFC heavyweight champion of the world."

"As far as local events go however, this weekend just gone, Caged steel 31 took place at the Dome. We saw some outstanding performances from fighters, amateur and pro. A highlight of the event was a suplex performed by an amateur fighter called Calum George."

"It truly was a sight to see. AFK super league took place on the 12th of march, with fighters from a local Donny gym on the card."

"Louis Wright is an amateur K1 fighter from Charles Martin martial arts and made his debut."

"Hopefully we're in for a good fight night" Lewis

Plan for the jingle:

The first jingle is the bell sounds which are used to separate the different sectors of the radio. I chose a bell sound as it links to the separation of the rounds.

The second sound is a UFC fight music which is in the background of the advert.
